Jennifer Ó Riada one of the founding partners of the firm of Ó Riada Solicitors, is a solicitor with more than 25 years experience in a wide range of legal areas. She has previously worked for one of Ireland’s largest legal practices before becoming a member of the in-house legal team of one of Ireland’s largest banks. She subsequently worked for one of Ireland’s longest established and most successful specialist litigation practices before leaving it to establish her own general services legal practice in the west of Ireland. Jennifer lead this latter mentioned practice successfully for a number of years before moving to Dublin to help establish her current practice with Philip Ó Riada. Jennifer is the former legal “Agony Aunt” for one of Ireland’s longest established and largest selling publications. In her current practice she represents a wide range of individuals and companies in relation to their personal and business legal affairs. She also advises many of Ireland’s leading SME and Public Companies in the specialised areas of dispute resolution and defence litigation roles. Jennifer is a NITA (National Institute of Trial Advocacy) trained advocate and is a former part time tutor at the Law School of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. Jennifer is married to Philip Ó Riada and they have two children.
Philip Ó Riada, Commissioner for Oaths, one of the founding partners of the firm of Ó Riada Solicitors, is a solicitor with thirty years experience in a wide range of legal areas. He previously acted as Law Agent and in-house solicitor to one of Ireland’s leading Public Companies and today continues to be retained as an external solicitor to act for that Public company and for other Irish Public & Private companies. He is a former part-time tutor and lecturer at the Law School of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland Philip sits as a board member of one of Ireland’s leading charities. Philip is a NITA (National Institute of Trial Advocacy) trained advocate and has a long time interest in small and medium sized businesses (“SMEs”) and the particular challenges faced by their owners and managers and the need for customised legal services and solutions to meet their special requirements. Philip is married with three children. Philip is a member of the Marketwest Chapter of Business Network International (BNI).
